In order to create and develop the hydrogen energy of  Turkmenistan in accordance with the plan of the "Roadmap for the development of international cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy of Turkmenistan for  2022-2023", approved by the No. 2581 Decree of the President of  Turkmenistan, January 28, 2022 to train high-level specialists and establish  international scientific cooperation in this area on the basis of public  initiatives, February 24, 2023, Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University held International Scientific and Practical online Conference "Scientific  and technical opportunities for obtaining  hydrogen energy from natural gas”, dedicated to the hydrogen energy development. Representatives of foreign countries, international organizations, specialized higher educational  institutions, ministries, departments of the country, as well as well-known  scientists, professors and teachers of higher educational institutions, students, about 100 representatives of scientific and educational institutions  from more than 20 countries of the world attended the conference.

     An  exhibition was organized within the framework of the international scientific  and practical conference. It presents the books of the Hero of Arkadag, a model  that reveals the structure of the university, as well as models of new  industrial enterprises, product samples obtained as a result of scientific  research and projects, exhibits of the National Museum of Turkmenistan, national clothes, carpets and rugs, textile tools, national musical  instruments, household items.

     During the international scientific and practical conference, an exchange of  experience took place on methods, features, prospects for obtaining hydrogen fuel from natural gas, as well as on the results of research and projects in this area.

     The work of the forum was widely performed in the media of the country and abroad,as well as on the Internet.
