On  December  14-16, 2023, at the State Olympiad  in academic subjects  among students of higher educational institutions, students of our universitytook the following prizes, one I place, one II place in subject of Resistance ofMaterials, two II places, one III place in Ecology, one II  place, two III places in the History of Turkmenistan, one II place, one III place in English, one II place,  two  III places in Chemistry, one II place, one III place in Physics, one II place, oneIII place in subject of Modern  computer  technologies, one II place in Mathematics, two III places in Russian, two  III places in Economics, one III place in the subject  of  Theoretical  mechanics, one III place in the subject  of  Engineering  graphics and  were  awarded  diplomas.

      During  2022, students  of  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  oil  and  gas  university  actively  participated  in  international  open  Internet  Olympiads  and  won 4 gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze  medals, 18 diplomas  of  the  1st degree, 13 diplomas  of  the 2nd  degree  and  22 diplomas  of  the  3rddegree. On  December  22-24, 2022, at  the  State  Olympiad  in  academic  disciplines  among  students  of higher  educational  institutions  of  our  country, students  of  our  university  won  2 diplomas  of  the I degree, 7 diplomas  of  the II degree  and 16 diplomas  of  the III degree.

     On  May 4, 2022, the  International  Internet  Olympiad on  Chemistry  was  held  at  IOGU.  The  Olympiad  was  held  through  the "moodle" platform  of  the  university's  website  and  more  than 300 students  from  17 countries  of  the  world  participated  in it. Talented  students  of  our  university  took  an  active  part  in  the  Olympiad  and  won  prizes.

     During 2021, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International oil and gas university actively participated in international open Internet Olympiads and won 60 gold, 24 silver and 5 bronze medals. On December 22-24, 2021, at the State Olympiad in academic disciplines among students of higher educational institutions of our country, students of our university won 1 diploma of the I degree, 5 diplomas of the II degree and 19 diplomas of the IIIdegree.

     At  the II Open International Internet Olympiad on the subject of Materials Resistance, held by the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction on March 15, 2023, students  of  the  Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University were awarded 1 diploma of the I degree, 1 diploma of the II degree and 3 diplomas of the III degree. Among them:

- Berdieva Meryem Islamdurdyevna, a 4th-year student in the direction of Chemical Technology, received a diploma of the first degree;

- the diploma of the II degree was received by Soyunov Khudaiberdi, a 2nd-year student of the Automated system of information processing and management specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Bekchanov Bekchan Bakhtiyarovich, a 2nd-year student in the direction of Mining;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Gubaev Agadzhan Vepaevich, a 3rd-year student of the Drilling of oil and gas wells specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by the 2nd-year student Luryev Ilya Vladimirovich, of the Development and exploitation of oil and gas fields specialty.

     At  the  II Open International Internet Olympiad in Theoretical Mechanics, held by the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan on March 27 - April 1, 2023, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University were awarded 1 diploma of the II degree and 5 diplomas of the III degree. Among them:

- the diploma of the II degree was received by Akhmadulin Ahmed-Gerey Makhmutgalievich, a 3rd-year student of the Design, construction and operation of oil and gas pipelines and oil and gas storage facilities specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Kossekova Lyale Amangeldyevna, a 3rd-year student of the Power supply specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Akyev Dovletnazar Gurbannazarovich, a 3rd-year student of the Design, construction and operation of oil and gas pipelines and oil and gas storage facilities specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Dzhumabaev Rasul Bakhtiyarovich, a 3rd-year student of the Mine Surveying specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Suhrabova Shukurjan Sukhrabovna, a 2nd-year student of the Information technology Software specialty, as well as a diploma of the III degree in team competition.

     At the II International Internet  Olympiad in English, held by the Turkmen  National  Institute of  World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady on April 12-13, 2023, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University were awarded 1 diploma of the I degree, 2 diplomas of the II degree and 3 diplomas of the III degree. Among them:

- the diploma of the I degree was received by Shamedova Selbi Dovranovna, a 4th-year student in the direction of Logistics (in the oil and gas industry);

- the diploma of the II degree was received by Gyzylov Seyit-Akhmet Palvanovich, a 2nd-year student of the Economics and Management (in the oil and gas industry) specialty;

- the diploma of the II degree was received by Nazberdiev Nazberdi Myradovich, a 3rd student of the Oil and gas Geology specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Annaev Omar Mukhammet ogly, a 2nd-year student of the Hydrogeology and engineering geology specialty;

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Charygulyeva Aygul Artykovna, a student of the language learning Department in the direction of Chemical Technology,

- the diploma of the III degree was received by Atamammedov Ismail Salikhmammedovich, a 3rd-year student of the Oil and gas Geology specialty.

     At the III Open International Olympiad in Mathematics (OMOUS-2023), held by the International University for Humanities and Development on April 23-28, 2023, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University received 1 gold and 1 bronze medals. Among them:

- Mammedov Niyazmyrat Berdimyradovich, a 5th-year student of the Open-cast mining industry specialty, received a gold medal and a diploma of the first degree;

- Ataev Azatgeldi Dovrangeldievich, a 4th-year student of the Drilling of Oil and gas wells specialty, received a bronze medal and a diploma of the III degree.

   In March-April 2023, at the International Open Students’ Internet Olympiad, held by the Research Institute for Quality Control of Education in Yoshkar-Ola, Russian Federation students of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University participated in physics, chemistry, computer science, ecology, descriptive geometry and engineering graphics and won 2 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals.

   For the great attention paid to identifying talented youth, their constant participation and high achievements in international Internet Olympiads on innovation the Organizing Committee of the International Open Students’ Internet Olympiad in Yoshkar-Ola, Russian Federation decided to award the honorary title (degree) "The Winner of the Open International Students’ Olympiad 2023" to the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University as well as the right to place the logo of the Internet Olympiad on the official website of the university.

    On  April  19, 2023, the  students of  the  university  won  2 I-level, 7 II-level, and  1 III-level  diplomas  at  the  1st Open International  Internet  Olympiad  on  Informatics  held  by  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  Oil  and  Gas University.Theyare:

    On  May 16, 2023, the  students  of  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  Oil  and  Gas  University  won  1 II-level and  1 III-level  diplomas  at  the  Open  International  Internet  Olympiad  on  World  Economy  held  by  the  Turkmen State  Institute  of  Economics  and  Management. They are:

    On  May  19, 2023, the  students  of  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  Oil  and  Gas  University  won  1 I-level, 2 II-level, 1 III-level  diplomas  in  the  Open  International  Internet  Olympiad  on  the  Drawing  geometry  and  engineering graphics  held  by  the  Institute  of  Engineering,Technical  and  Transport  Communications  of  Turkmenistan.
