On the organization of the “Software.Hack” Hackathon held on October 9–10, 2025, at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas

In accordance with the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No. 340 dated September 15, 2017, and its Implementation Plan, as well as the approved list outlined in the letter of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan No. 10/746 dated January 27, 2025, and in the spirit of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, with the aim of fulfilling the objectives set by our esteemed President to identify educated, knowledgeable, broad-minded, and talented youth, the “Software.Hack” hackathon was held on October 9–10, 2025, at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas.

A total of 70 students and pupils participated in the competition, representing 19 higher educational institutions, 3 vocational and secondary specialized schools, and 4 general education schools.

Out of 26 teams in total, 12 participated remotely and 14 participated in person.

According to the rules of the “Software.Hack” hackathon, the following awards were determined: one Grand Prize, two First Prizes, three Second Prizes, and four Third Prizes.

The “Software.Hack” hackathon was conducted using software officially certified by the State Service of Turkmenistan for Intellectual Property.
