The  General  technical  disciplines  department  was  founded  in  2012. The  department  is  a part  of  the  Oil   industry  faculty of Balkanabat  branch  and  is  one  of  the  important  structural  departments  of  the  university.

     The  main  tasks  of  the  department  are  the  modern  organization  of  educational  and  scientific-research  work,  the  regulation of the  important  types  of  educational,  professional,  research  and  design  work  of  methodological  instructions,  manuals  and according to  them  the  preparation  of  specialists  with  higher  education.  

      In  the  Period  of  the  Revival  of  the  New  Era  of  the  Powerful  State,  the  main  tasks  of  the department  are  to  educate students in a  patriotic  spirit,  to  explain   them  moral  values,  to tell  about  the  traditions  and  customs  inherited   from  our  ancestors, to  expound  the  relationship   between  man  and  society,  society  and  nature  to  students,  to  bring  up intellectual  and  patriotic  personalities  with  highly  moral  spirit  devoted  to  people,  Motherland  and  Esteemed  President.

       Professors  and  academic  staff  of  the  General  technical  disciplines  department  of  the  Oil  industry  faculty  of  Balkanabat branch  of  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  oil  and  gas  university  give  the  lectures  and  practical  lessons  on  general  technicaland  social-humanitarian   disciplines.  It  is  effective  at  carrying  out  properly  the  scientific-research  and  project  works  and  is  very  important  in  humanitarian  training  of  technical  engineers.

       The department includes:

    -  Mechanics  and molecular physics laboratory;

    -  2 computer   classes.
