The  department  of  Economics  and  management   in   the   oil  and  gas  industry was founded  in 2012. The department is a part of the Economics and management faculty and is one of the structural departments of the university.

     The  main  task  of  the  department  is  the  organization  and  establishment  of  educational, scientific-research  and  design  work in accordance  with  the  requirements  of  the  time.

      At  the  Economics  and  management   in   the  oil  and  gas  industry  department  of  the Economics  and  management  faculty   of Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  oil  and  gas  university, highly  qualified  specialists  are  being  trained  in  the  specialty   of “Economics  and  management  (in  the  oil  and  gas  industry)” as   wellas   bachelors  in  the  direction  of “Economics  and  management (in the oil and gas industry)”, “Logistics (in theoil and gas industry)”, “Personnel management (in the oil and gas industry)”  for  the  Türkmengaz  State  Concern,  the Türkmennebit  State  Concern, the   Türkmengeologiýa  State Corporation and  other administrative  departments   and   enterprises   of   Oil   and   gas   complex   of   Turkmenistan.

      The  department of  “Economics   and  management   (in   the oil   and  gas  industry)” graduates   engineers-economists  with higher  education   in   the   specialty  of “Economy   and   management (in  oil and gas  branch)”, as  well  as b achelors  in  the  direction  of “Economics   and   management   (in   the oil  and  gas  industry)”, “Logistics (in  theoil and  gas  industry)”, “Personnel management (in  theoil  and  gas  industry)”.

       The department includes:

       -  Automation of economic-mathematical modeling and preparation of economic information laboratory;

       - 1 class for preparation of Diploma projects.
