On  October  1-2, 2023,  the  rector  and  representative  of  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  Oil  and  Gas  University  participated  in  the  international conference  "Towards  Carbon  Neutrality:  Education,  Technology  and  Talent"  held  on  the  occasion  of  the  70 th  anniversary  of  China  University  of Petroleum  (Beijing). The  international  consultation  was  held  consecutively  in  3  forums:

     1. Carbon  Neutrality  Education  System;

     2. Carbon  Neutrality  Science  and  Technology  Frontiers;

     3. Carbon  Neutrality  Young  Talents.

     At   the  forum  "Carbon  Neutrality  Science  and  Technology  Frontiers",  the  rector  of  the  Yagshygeldi  Kakayev  International  Oil  and  Gas  University spoke  on  the  topic "Science,  education  and  innovative   technologies  in  the  oil  and   gas  sector  of   Turkmenistan".

     The  international   conference   discussed  issues  related  to  achieving  carbon   neutrality   and  accelerating   the   transition  to  green  energy.  This international  conference   greatly   contributed  to  the  exchange  of  ideas  and  enrichment   of  knowledge  and  experience  among  young  talents  in  the  field of  science,  education  and  technology  in  global  energy  to  ensure  carbon  neutrality  and  sustainable  development  of   humanity.
