On March 5, 2025, the Yagshygeldy Kakayev International Oil and Gas University will hold the “Talented Young Mathematicians” Olympiad in mathematics among secondary school students and invites students to take an active part in the Olympiad.

    On March 5, 2025, the Yagshygeldy Kakayev International Oil and Gas University will hold the “Talented Young Mathematicians” Olympiad in mathematics among secondary school students and invites students to take an active part in the Olympiad.

    This Olympiad will help especially talented students who are able to think independently and solve problems to discover their talents and increase their interest in various areas of mathematics.

    The Olympiad will be held individually in two stages:

    a) the first round of the Olympiad will be held as a test in online format at 10:00 on March 5, 2025;

    b) the second round of the Olympiad will be held through tasks in the V academic building of Yagshygeldi Kakayev International Oil and Gas University at 10:00 on March 25, 2025.

    Students of secondary and specialised schools with advanced study of subjects graduating from school in this academic year may take part in the Olympiad.

    With the use of specially developed national software, individual winners of the Olympiad will be determined according to the sum of their scores.

    Additional information and announcements concerning the Olympiad will be posted in a special section of the university website IOGU.edu.tm.

    The responsible teachers should exactly and correctly draw up the list of students willing to participate in the Olympiad according to the sample, fill in the registration data of the Participant (Appendix 1) and send it to the email address of the Organising Committee of the Olympiad at hngu.olimp@gmail.com by March 3, 2025.
