Authorized by the Respected National Leaderof the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas to train teachers,researchers, and applicants  of  scientific degree  in the oil and gas industry a Center  wasestablished.

         Themain goal of the center is to carry out fundamental and applied researchs anddesign works in priority areas of science and technology, training andretraining of highly qualified teachers and personnel in the oil and gasindustry. 

     Themain functions of the center are as follows:

-introduction of innovations and inventions into production, the results ofscientific research carried out by scientists, faculty, students;

-exchange of experience in the field of science and education with leadingforeign higher educational institutions. Activation of distance learning at theuniversity by well-known foreign professors;

- whentraining high-level specialists for the oil and gas industry, actively involvereputable international educational institutions, training centers Petronas,Dragon Oil, CNPC, Hyundai, LG and other companies;

- todetermine the ways and directions for the implementation of the digital economyand innovative solutions in the enterprises of the sectoral management of theoil and gas complex;

-preparation of scientific monographs, dissertations, scientific articles, ,scientific and practical collections, textbooks and teaching aids;

-organization of additional courses for graduate students and applicants for ascientific degree on the topics: "Philosophy of Science","Foreign languages by profession", "Modern computertechnologies" and courses in the professions of scientific workers;

-publication of scientific articles of the teaching staff, masters, researchersand university students in the international indexed scientific and technicaljournals "Scopus", "ScienceDirec", "Web ofScience";

- tointensify the participation of the faculty of the university, masters,researchers, students and applicants of the oil and gas complex ininternational scientific and practical conferences, symposia, exhibitions,seminars, competitions;

- tocarry out joint research work in the field of deep processing of oil and gaswith the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State Concern"Turkmengaz", the Institute "Nebitgazylmytaslama", theInstitute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan and proposescientifically substantiated proposals for production.
