The high reputation of Turkmenistan in the sports world clearly indicates that special attention is paid to this area under the leadership of the Esteemed  President. In our country championships are held at a high organizational level.

         Teachers of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas are working effectively to attract young people tophysical culture and sports, to promote a healthy lifestyle. They make avaluable contribution to the harmonious development of physical culture and sports and the formation of young athletes.  

         4th year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International University of Oil and Gas, took part in the Championship of Turkmenistan in sambo and combatsambo, held on February 15-16, 2023 in Lebap region, which was declared the “Yearof Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”. Student Babekov Niyazmyrat won first placein the weight category up to 64 kg, performing in sambo.

         3rd year student of the Faculty of Energy and Mechanical Engineering  Myammetgurbanov Myammetgurban successfully competed in combat sambo and took 1st place in the 88 kg weight category.

         These achievements clearly show that the tasks set for sports to reach new heights in our country are being successfully implemented.
