In the Epoch of Revival of a new era of powerful state, new pages are opening in the history of Turkmen sports. Currently, sports is one of the main developing sectors of Turkmenistan, which creates favorable conditions for the country to participate in world sport competitions, as well as win prestigious places.

    Inspired by the wide opportunities created by Hero Arkadagly Serdar, our youth actively participates in international competitions and wins prizes.

    It is necessary to underline the achievements of Turkmen athletes in international competitions. The National women's team of Turkmenistan took part in the 45th World Chess Olympiad, held on 9-24 September, 2024 in Budapest (Hungary) and won with 14 points, taking 1st place in category "C".

    It is important to note that Lala Shokhradova, a first-year student of the faculty of oil and gas of the Yagshygeldi Kakayev International oil and gas university, made a great contribution to this historic victory.

    This result is the highest achievement of National team in the entire history of its participation in the World Chess Olympiad.

    The year under the motto "The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi" is marked by the tireless work of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Hero Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar
